Steadrow Quail Cage System

The Steadrow Quail Cage System is a stackable, galvanized-steel cage line for backyard quail keepers, configurable from a single layer up to a five-layer stack. Each layer carries a sloped floor that rolls eggs forward into a collection tray, a slide-out manure tray below, and feed and water troughs integrated along the front — the working layout commercial keepers use, scaled down to a garage, barn, or covered patio.

Quail are the quiet route to home eggs — legal in many cities and HOAs where chickens are not, mature in weeks, and content in far less space. We keep the claims honest: how many birds a layer holds depends on your local rules and your management, so we publish the actual cage dimensions and let you do the stocking math. Steadrow sells housing and equipment only, never live birds.

The system is built to be worked daily: trays slide clean without opening cage doors, eggs wait in the covered channel instead of underfoot, and the whole stack breaks down to flat galvanized panels for a deep clean or a move. Start with one or two layers and add capacity as the covey grows — every layer shares the same footprint, so the stack climbs instead of sprawling.
